We focus on polishing services. It’s the kind of work that makes your clothes dirty by the end of the day. We have various buffing wheels and machines that run almost constantly. The sound of the motors is the background noise of our lives. It’s a small shop, nothing too fancy. We just have a counter and the workspace in the back. Mhada Colony is a big landmark, so that helps people find us. We get a lot of local residents coming in with household items that need a shine, or sometimes small parts from local mechanics. The walls are covered in a bit of residue from the polishing compounds, which is just part of the business. We don't have a website or a marketing team. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. Malad West is a busy place, but our little corner of Ekta Nagar stays pretty grounded. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we know the trade well. It is a practical service for the neighborhood, and we are happy to just keep it simple and honest. Sometimes the work takes longer than we expect, but we always try to finish what we started before heading home for the night. We don't mind the long hours as long as things get done right.
