I’ve been here at 304/B 20 N M Joshi Marg for longer than I can remember. Shri Revar Kisan Premji is the name on the papers, but mostly it is just me and the guys handling whatever comes through the door. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic on the Marg, but you get used to it after a few years. Anyway, we open up early, usually when the sun is just starting to hit the windows of the building. The tea guy comes by around ten, and that is usually the highlight of the morning. There is always something to do, papers to move, or people to talk to. We aren’t doing anything fancy here. It is just regular work that needs doing. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. People know where to find us in 304/B. We have our routine and we stick to it. N M Joshi Marg is a busy place, and we are just one part of that whole mess. It is not always easy, especially when it rains and the street gets muddy, but we manage. We just keep our heads down and do what we have to do until it is time to lock up and head home. That is pretty much how it goes here every single day. Nothing more to it.
