Shri Ram Gupta Stores

We are located at Shop Number T4, which is part of 1/3 Jawaharlal Ne in Mulund West. We are right on Kika Street. The Murgan Mandir is very close by, and you can often hear the morning prayers from our storefront. Shri Ram Gupta Stores is a traditional kind of shop. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. We use a wooden ladder to get things down for customers. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. We know most of our customers by their first names. They live in the apartments nearby and come to us for their daily needs. The street outside is always bustling with shoppers and rickshaws. We start our day early to get the shop ready. There is always cleaning to do and stock to count. The counter is worn down from years of people leaning on it. We don't have any digital displays or fancy lighting. We just use the same old tube lights we’ve had for years. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic crate when the shop is empty. It’s a good way to catch some fresh air and watch the world go by on Kika Street. We have been a part of this Mulund neighborhood for a long time. It feels good to be a place people can come to for their small things every day. We stay busy till late most evenings.
