M T S Stores

This branch of M T S Stores is over at Sakinakar, specifically in the Satelite Silver building on Mahakali Road. If you’ve ever been to Sakinakar, you know the traffic can be a real headache, especially during the monsoon. We are at unit number 10. The office feels a bit different from a street-side shop because it’s inside a proper building complex. It’s a bit quieter once you get inside, away from the horns and the dust. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff here. There are piles of folders and boxes stacked in the corners because we never seem to have enough storage space. We have a small pantry where we make tea, which is basically the highlight of our afternoons. Most of the work involves coordinating between different people and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the day. It’s not the most exciting job, but it’s what we do. The windows look out over some other buildings and a bit of the road. Sometimes we watch the planes taking off because the airport isn’t too far away. We usually stay late to finish up the paperwork so we don’t have to carry it over to tomorrow. It’s a practical setup, nothing fancy or polished. We just come in, do our hours, and try to keep everything organized in our own way. It works for us and the people we deal with daily.
