Shri Pharamahamsa Pan Bandhar

Shri Pharamahamsa Pan Bandhar is right here on Jijamata Road 3 in Andheri East. It’s been in this spot for a while now. Most mornings start early, usually before the traffic gets really bad on the main road. The shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. You can see the traffic moving past all day, and it gets pretty loud sometimes with all the horns. We spend most of the day just getting things ready, checking the leaves, and making sure the jars are full of whatever people usually ask for. It’s a lot of standing around and talking to the regulars who stop by on their way home from the station or after their lunch. The rain sometimes comes in under the awning during monsoon, so we have to move things back a bit. It’s just a normal place, nothing fancy to look at. We keep the counter as clean as we can, though the dust from the road makes it hard. People come in, say hello, get what they want, and head back out into the crowd. That’s how it goes every day from morning until late at night when the street finally goes quiet. We don't really do much else besides this. It's just about being here on the corner and keeping the rhythm going. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes we just sit and watch the buses go by.
