My name is Manojkumar and I work out of number 8 in Chakala. Specifically, I'm over at Thobha Sheri, which is quite close to the bus stop. It’s a handy location for me since I don’t have to walk far from where I live. I’ve been in Chakala for years and I’ve seen it grow into a real hub for all kinds of small businesses. My shop is a modest place. I don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a team of people in suits. It’s just me and the work I do every day. I usually start my day with a cup of tea from the stall nearby and then I get to it. The space is a bit cramped because I have a lot of things stored here, but I know where everything is. It’s not always easy running a small business on your own, but I prefer it this way. I don't have to answer to anyone but myself. Some days are slow and I just sit and watch the people go by toward the bus stop. Other days I don't even have time to eat lunch because there's so much to get done. That’s just the nature of it. I try to be fair with everyone and just do a good job. People around Thobha Sheri know me well enough by now. It’s a simple life and I’m fine with that. I don't need anything more.
