Shri Md Salim Raza

My place is in Mahape, down at Sambhaji Nagar in Ambegoan. I’m on the ground floor, right near the Power House, which makes it pretty easy to find if you’re looking for it. My name is Salim Raza and this is where I spend most of my time. Being on the ground floor is lucky because it stays a bit cooler and I don’t have to lug things up any stairs. The area around the Power House is always buzzing with activity. It’s not a quiet neighborhood, but it’s a good place to work. I’ve got my small setup here and I handle everything myself. Some days are slow and I just sit and watch the people going by the window toward the ground. Other days, I’m so busy I forget to eat lunch until it’s nearly evening. I don’t have a website or any of that stuff. I just rely on people knowing I’m here and doing what I say I’ll do. The office isn't much to look at, just a table, a few chairs, and my files. I try to keep things simple. If someone needs something, they just walk in and we talk about it. I’ve lived in this part of town for years, so I know most of the neighbors. It’s a simple life, but it suits me just fine. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but Ambegoan right now.
