We set up Shri Hari Housing Agency at Shop No 1, Plot No 21, near the old Navrang Cinema on Ankur Road in Andheri West. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. Our office is a simple one-room setup where we handle all the housing stuff for the neighborhood. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, with new buildings going up where old houses used to be. We spend a lot of time talking to building secretaries and checking out different flats to see what’s actually worth the price. It’s a lot of stairs and elevators every day. We don't have a polished website or a team of agents in suits. It’s just us, sitting at our desks with our tea, waiting for the next person to walk through the door. Andheri West is a big place, so we try to stick to the areas we know best, like around Navrang Cinema and the nearby colonies. We help people with their rent agreements and make sure the police verification is done right. It’s mostly routine work, but it matters to the people moving here. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just look at what's available and try to match it with what someone needs. Sometimes we have a lot of options, and other times the market is tight, but we always stay honest about the situation.
