We’re located over at Balwani Niwas, which is house number 136 in Kandivali West. Most people find us by looking for the Bhagwati Hotel because we are right opposite that. It’s a busy little area. The office is usually a bit cluttered with files and maps of the local streets. I’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. It’s not a corporate setup at all. You’ll see a few old chairs and maybe some tea cups left over from the morning. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who walk in off the street. Some are looking for a small flat, others are just curious about the prices in the neighborhood. Kandivali can be a maze if you aren’t used to it. The Balwani Niwas building has its own quirks, like any old place. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. It is just a local agency trying to keep things organized. Sometimes we have to run out to show a place, so the door might be locked for ten minutes. It’s a small operation. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they know us. If you’re coming from the station, it’s a short walk. Just keep an eye out for the hotel and you will see our sign. It's nothing fancy, just a regular place where work gets done.
