Shree Siddhivinayak

Our little spot is Shree Siddhivinayak and we are located at BMC Stall No 7. It’s on JSD Road in Mulund West. Being so near the railway station means there is always a lot of noise and people rushing past, but it’s a good place for a small stall. You can’t miss us if you’re walking from the platform towards the main road. It’s just a basic BMC stall, so space is a bit tight, but we’ve organized it so we can find what we need. We handle a bit of everything here, mostly small items and services that people need on their way to or from work. Sometimes the rain gets a bit annoying because the roof leaks a tiny bit near the corner, but we’ve put some plastic sheets up to handle that. It’s not a fancy showroom with air conditioning, just a regular Mumbai stall where we work hard every day. We know many of the commuters who pass by every morning; some stop for a quick chat even if they aren’t buying anything. We’ve been in Mulund for years and seen the station area change a lot. The street food smells from nearby are always tempting during lunchtime. We just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks and helping out whoever stops by the window. It’s a humble way to work, but it suits us just fine. We hope the trains keep running on time.
