Our place is over at 148, on the first floor of Kalindas Udyog B in Prabhadevi. It’s an older industrial building, and you can feel that as soon as you walk in. Shree Manjunath Indl Comml Corporation has been here for a good while. The stairs are wide and made of concrete, and there’s usually some activity in the corridors. We have a fair amount of space, but it’s mostly filled with inventory and desks. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the traffic and the people heading to work every morning. It can get a bit humid here, so we keep the windows open when there’s a breeze. We handle a lot of commercial supplies, which means there are always pallets or boxes being moved around. The staff is small, and we mostly just focus on getting the orders right and making sure everything is where it should be. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working at our desks or checking something in the back. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and eat lunch together. It’s a straightforward business. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just do the job that needs to be done every day. When the day is over, we turn off the fans and head out to the train station.
