Shree Diamond Training Centre

We are located at 8 Malad West, Sector 11, in the B Wing right across from the Kamats Club. It’s a decent area, though finding parking can be a real headache sometimes. Shree Diamond Training Centre is basically where people come to learn the trade of diamond grading and sorting. It’s not like a regular classroom. We have these long benches and specialized lamps because you need very specific lighting to see what’s going on inside a stone. Most of the day is spent in silence with everyone squinting through their loupes. It’s a lot of patience. I remember when we first set up here, the rooms felt too big, but now they are filled with equipment and old chairs. We aren't trying to be a fancy academy; we just want to teach the skills that actually matter in the market. The B Wing gets a bit of a breeze in the afternoon which helps. People come from all over Malad to sit in our sessions. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and see people working at their stations. It’s a bit of a niche thing, I suppose. The tea guy downstairs knows exactly when we take our breaks. We’ve kept things simple over the years. No big promises, just showing people how to look at diamonds properly. It’s a small, focused operation and we like it that way.
