Shirish Sukhatme & Associates is located at J.S. Hall on B Road in Churchgate. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets, especially with the station so close by. Our office is in an older building that has a lot of character, even if the stairs are a bit narrow. We’ve been based here for quite some time now and it feels like home to us. The sea breeze sometimes makes its way through the windows, which is a nice break from the city heat. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a bunch of people in suits standing at the door. It’s just a workspace where we keep our documents and handle our daily tasks. Most of our morning is spent sorting through mail and answering calls. Because it’s Churchgate, there’s always a lot of noise from the traffic and the people heading to the trains, but we don't mind it much anymore. The rooms are filled with desks and tall shelves for all our paperwork. We usually grab a quick snack from the vendors on the street when we have a break. It's a very practical place to work from because everything we need is right within walking distance. Sometimes the building is a bit quiet in the late evenings after the main rush is over. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as it comes in. It’s a simple life here.
