Sheth Housing Agency has been operating out of Kandivali West for some time now. You can find us at 4/237 in the Keshar Chember building, specifically in the D Wing. We are located right on the 5th Cross, which is a familiar spot for anyone living around here. The office is pretty simple, nothing like those high-rise corporate suites you see in magazines. We spend most of our time dealing with the nuts and bolts of local housing. People come in looking for a place to stay or wanting to list their current home. It’s a lot of back-and-forth phone calls and checking on different blocks in the area. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing. It’s just us working through the day-to-day tasks. Some mornings are quiet, and other times it feels like everyone in Kandivali is looking for a new apartment at once. We try to keep track of what’s available in the nearby streets. Keshar Chember is a decent place to work from, even if finding parking nearby can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We focus on the practical side of things—getting the keys ready, making sure the agreements are signed, and answering basic questions about the neighborhood. It’s honest work, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of the local families over the years. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency, just one that gets the job done for the people who walk through our door in the D Wing. There is usually a bit of dust on the shelves and the printer acts up, but we get by.
