You can find us at Flat No.1 in the Vaibhav Cooperative Housing Society. We are right in Gokuldham, Goregaon East. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually pretty quiet until we start cooking. Then the whole hallway smells like onions and spices. We do catering for small events and gatherings around the neighborhood. It’s a small operation run right out of the kitchen here. We have big pots and pans that take up most of the space. My wife does most of the cooking while I handle the logistics and the heavy lifting. We don't have a big restaurant front. Most people just call us or knock on the door. It’s a bit cramped when we have a big order to get out by noon. We’ve had to learn how to move around each other without tripping. We don't have fancy uniforms or a branded van. We just use our regular car to drop things off. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights, especially during the wedding season. Sometimes we get tired of the heat in the kitchen, but it’s nice when the food turns out right. People in Gokuldham know us by now. We’ve been in this society for a long time. It’s just a small family business trying to keep things going. We don't do anything too complicated, just good food for the locals. That is pretty much our daily life here.
