Shanti Electric & Hardware Stores

Shanti Electric & Hardware is tucked away in Kurla West, right at Plot No 168 near the Valiibhai Hyderali Chawl. It’s a typical local shop where we keep a bit of everything on the shelves. You'll find electrical wires, switches, and the usual hardware tools people need for basic home repairs. The shop isn't very large at all, so things are stacked pretty high up to the ceiling. We know many of the neighbors because they drop by when a fuse blows or a tap starts leaking in their house. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work and realizes they need something for a quick fix before dinner. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical store where you can talk to us directly across the counter. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific small bolt or screw in the bins, but we usually know where everything is hidden away. Kurla is always moving and loud, and we are just one small part of that local scene. We’ve been here a while now, seeing how the area has changed over the years. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy boxes and counting out small parts for customers. We try to keep the stock updated with what people actually use around here every day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it's what we do from morning till night to keep the shop running.
