Shanti Book Centre

Shanti Book Centre is located at Shop No-4/353 in Kedia States. We are right on Bhandarkar Road in Matunga East. If you are looking for us, we are situated right below the Canara Bank. It is a handy landmark because everyone knows where the bank is. Being in Matunga, there is always a lot of activity around us. The shop itself is not huge, but we pack a lot into it. We spend most of our time organizing stacks and trying to remember where we put that one specific book someone asked for last week. It is a bit of a juggle sometimes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us here every day, opening up the shutters and getting things ready. The shelves are usually full and sometimes things spill over onto the floor. It is just part of the charm of a local bookshop. People stop by on their way to work or after visiting the bank upstairs. We talk to the regulars about the weather or the traffic on Bhandarkar Road. It is a simple way to make a living. We have been in this spot for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but the shop stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do, handling orders and helping customers find what they need without any fuss. It’s a bit cramped but it works for us most of the time.
