N N Medical Books

Our little bookstore is located at B/10 in Sheriar Baug, which is on Ramchandra Bhatt Marg. We are right at gate number two, directly opposite J. J. Hospital. Being so close to a major hospital like that means we see a lot of medical students and doctors walking past every day. The shop is small and filled from floor to ceiling with books on every medical subject you can think of. It smells like paper and old ink in here. We spend most of our time trying to keep the stacks from leaning too far over. It is a bit of a maze once you step inside. We have been in this spot for quite a while, and the neighborhood is always humming with energy. The traffic on Ramchandra Bhatt Marg never seems to stop. Since we are near gate number two, people use our shop as a landmark sometimes when they are meeting up. We do not have much in the way of fancy displays. The books are the main thing here. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a new semester starts and everyone needs their texts at once. We just keep our heads down and help whoever comes to the counter with their list. It is a specialized kind of shop, but we like the quiet focus of it compared to the busy street outside. It is just us and the medical texts day after day.
