Magic Writing Books

Our shop, Magic Writing Books, is right on S V Road in Jogeshwari West. We are in Shop Number 01 of Khan Tower. If you know the area, we are directly opposite the 24 Carat Theatre. It is a very loud and busy part of Mumbai, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. The shop is small and packed with books from the floor to the ceiling. We mostly deal with writing books for kids and students. It gets really crowded in here during the start of the school season. We don't have much room for people to stand around, so things can get a bit hectic inside. The theater across the street usually has a lot of people hanging around, so there is always something to watch from our front door. Khan Tower is an older building and our shop is right on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just pop in. We don't do any fancy advertising or have a big website. People mostly know us because they walk past us every day or their parents used to shop here. Sometimes the traffic on S V Road is so bad that people just park their bikes and come in to wait it out. We have been here a long time and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the block. It is a simple life selling books, and we like the energy of the street.
