Shankes Group Of Co is situated in Kandivali West, right across from the K D Compound. We are also quite near Dr Ambedkar School, so there are always kids and parents walking around outside during the day. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get our business done. Even though the name says Group of Co, we operate like a local outfit where everyone knows each other. It gets pretty crowded in this part of Kandivali, but we’ve managed to find our rhythm here over the years. We handle a variety of tasks depending on what the day brings. Usually, there’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls going on. We don't really have a polished corporate vibe; it’s more about sitting at the desk and getting the work finished so we can go home. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or residential buildings, so it feels like a community. We’ve had the same sign out front for a long time. People come in to ask questions or settle accounts, and we just talk to them like normal folks. There is no script or fancy talk here. We just run the company from this spot and try to keep things organized. It’s a lot of routine, but it works for us. Finding a parking spot near the school can be tough, so most of us just walk or take the local transport to get here.
