Shanghai Cin Chinese & Fast Food

Our little place, Shanghai Cin, is over in Malad West, specifically in Sector-37 c. It's a bit of a trek if you aren't from this side of town, but for the locals, we’re just around the corner. We focus on Chinese food and some fast food items. The wok stays hot all day. You can hear the fire roaring in the back. We use a lot of garlic and ginger, so the smell usually drifts out onto the street. Some people like it extra spicy, others want it mild, so we try to adjust as we go. It’s not a big restaurant with white tablecloths. We have basic tables and stools. Most people just order take-away to eat at home while watching TV. We pack everything in those plastic containers and make sure to put in enough spoons. The floor gets a bit slippery sometimes when we’re cleaning up, so we have to be careful. We’ve had the same delivery guy for ages, he knows all the shortcuts in Sector-37. We don't use any fancy apps for everything; usually, people just call us up or walk in. It’s a busy life running a food joint in Malad, but we enjoy the rush when the dinner orders start coming in thick and fast. We just keep cooking until the ingredients are gone for the night. We try to keep the prices fair so that everyone in the neighborhood can afford to eat here often. It's just a regular neighborhood shop.
