Shamala Impex (P) Limited

Our office is located in the Kohinoor Jasmine building, specifically unit E-2/501. It is right across from Ruparel College in Dadar West, so there are always plenty of students walking around outside and plenty of places to grab a quick snack. Being in Dadar means we are right in the heart of things, but our office is up on the fifth floor, so it is a bit removed from the street noise. It is a private limited company, but we keep things pretty informal inside. There are just a handful of us working here, managing the import and export side of things. The office has a few desks, some old computers, and a lot of folders. We don't have a big corporate culture or anything. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good exercise I suppose. We get a lot of natural light through the windows, which is nice. Looking out, you can see the rooftops of the neighborhood and the train tracks in the distance. We have been in this spot for a while, and we like the convenience of the location. There isn't any fancy branding on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a few notes pinned up. It is a practical space for practical work. We stay quite busy here most days.
