Our office is down on Nehru Road in the Kambliwadi area of Andheri East. It’s a busy street and there is always a lot of noise from the shops nearby. We’ve been operating from this same spot for a while now. The space inside is mostly desks and chairs for when clients come in to discuss their property needs. We handle a lot of the paperwork for buying and selling around this neighborhood. It’s a private limited company, but it still feels like a small family setup. I usually get in around ten and stay until the work is finished. There are a few of us working here, so someone is almost always available if a person just walks in. We don’t really do much online stuff; we prefer talking to people face to face. It helps to understand what someone actually wants instead of just looking at photos. Nehru Road is a good location because everyone passes by it at some point. We see a lot of regular faces. Sometimes we just stand outside for a bit of fresh air and chat with the neighboring shopkeepers. It’s a honest way to earn a living. We keep our records in order and try to make sure the process isn't too confusing for the buyers. It's just a regular day-to-day business for us and we like being part of this street.
