Sejal Consultancy

Masjid Bunder is one of the most hectic places in Mumbai. We are in Bharavi Bhavan, room 41/43 on the 5th floor. The walk from the station is always a struggle with all the handcarts and people carrying big bundles on their heads. Being near Dagina Bazar means there is always a crowd. Sejal Consultancy is just a small office where we handle different types of paperwork. It’s not a quiet place because the street sounds come right through the windows. We’ve been in this building for years. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the files are stacked pretty high on the shelves. It’s just how things are here. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything. You just walk in, find a chair if one is free, and we talk about what needs doing. Usually, someone is making tea in the corner or there's a delivery person dropping off more documents. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. The afternoon sun makes the room quite bright, which is good for reading small print on those forms. We know the neighbors well, mostly other small businesses doing their own thing. It's a busy life in this part of the city, and we just keep at it every day from morning until it’s time to head back home through the station. It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy working in the middle of all this chaos every single day.
