Sareewala Exports

We are over at 56 J B Shah Mar on Khadak Sandhut Road. This area is always moving, with trucks and carts going past all the time. Our place is full of fabrics and packed boxes ready to go out. We deal with exports, so there is a lot of checking labels and making sure the counts are right. It’s not a showroom where you come to browse slowly; it’s more of a busy workspace. You’ll see rolls of cloth and different patterns everywhere you look. The building is older, but it serves us well for storing and sorting everything. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and suppliers. It can get dusty with all the textiles around, but that’s part of the trade. We’ve been at this address for years and know the street like the back of our hands. We aren't doing any big marketing campaigns. We just focus on getting the sarees to where they need to go. There’s a small desk where we handle the billing and a lot of floor space for sorting. Sometimes the heat in the afternoons makes it a bit tough, but we keep the fans going. It’s just a regular export business doing its thing in a busy part of town. We mostly drink tea while checking the manifests.
