Santosh Bhai Fruitwala

My name is Santosh, and I run Santosh Bhai Fruitwala. My shop is located in Kalbadevi on Odhav Road. We are at Shop No 191, on the ground floor of the Kap building. I’ve been selling fruit in this area for a long time. Every morning starts very early for me, going to the wholesale market to pick out the fruit. I bring it back to the shop and get everything set up before the sun is even fully up. It’s hard work, but I like being my own boss. The shop is usually full of seasonal fruits like mangoes, apples, and bananas. Kalbadevi is a very crowded place, so there are always people walking by. I know many of my customers by their names because they’ve been buying from me for years. They know I won’t sell them anything that isn't good. I don't have a big team, just a helper who helps me carry the crates. The shop is simple, with just some wooden racks and a weighing scale. I don't use any fancy packaging. People just bring their own bags or I give them a simple one. It’s a basic business, but it’s honest. I’m here almost every day of the week. If you’re ever walking down Odhav Road, you’ll see my shop right there on the ground floor. It’s hard to miss with all the colors. My fruits are always fresh from the market.
