Phoolchand Bhagatsingh

You can find Phoolchand Bhagatsingh at Shop No. 15 inside the Hi Life Mall on P. M. Road. Santacruz West is a busy part of the city, and the mall gets a lot of people walking through. Our shop is not the biggest one in the building, but we make use of every inch of space we have. We spend our time folding clothes, talking to customers, and checking the stock in the back room. The mall lights stay on all day, so you lose track of time sometimes. It is a different kind of work than being in a factory. We have to keep the shelves looking decent, even when things get hectic on the weekends. The air conditioning is usually running, which is a relief from the heat on P. M. Road. We get a lot of regulars who stop by just to see what is new on the racks. It is mostly us standing on our feet and moving hangers around. When the mall is quiet in the mornings, we do the inventory and tidy up the displays. There is always some background music playing from the mall speakers. We eat our lunch in the small break area behind the counter. It is just a shop in a mall where we try to keep things moving and help people find what they need. We don't have a website or anything, we just stay here and talk to whoever walks in.
