Sanjeedas Zaika

Sanjeedas Zaika is a small shop located on the ground floor, shop number 13 and 14, over in Sewri. It is a working-class neighborhood, and we have been part of it for a while now. The space isn't huge, but we make the most of it every day. We spend most of our mornings prepping ingredients and getting the stoves going. The area can get a bit noisy with the traffic and the local activity, but we are used to it. We do not have a marketing team or any glossy brochures. We just cook and serve. Some days are slow, and we spend time chatting with the neighbors or cleaning up the back. Other days, it is a constant rush from the moment we open the door. We try to keep things honest and simple. If something isn't fresh, we do not serve it. It is as easy as that. We are not trying to be a five-star restaurant. We are just a local spot where you can get a decent meal without spending too much. The staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. From washing dishes to taking orders, no one is too big for any task here. We have seen kids grow up in this neighborhood and now they come in as adults to buy food. That is the kind of place this is. We do not need fancy words to describe what we do. We just show up every day and do the work the best we can.
