Sanika Tools

Being tucked away in G/8 at the Sanghavi Industrial Estate in Kandivali West means it’s always pretty loud around here. There’s always someone unloading a truck or some machine humming in the background from a neighbor's unit. Sanika Tools has been operating out of this unit for a good bit now. It’s a typical industrial spot, not much to look at from the outside with its grey walls, but it works for what we do. The estate is a bit of a maze if you're visiting for the first time, and the roads inside are usually narrow and full of crates. We spend most of our mornings just getting everything ready and checking what needs to go out to customers. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving wooden pallets around the concrete floor. Kandivali West is a busy area, especially this part of it where all the industrial sheds are grouped together. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights to get attention. Usually, people find us because they know the address or someone told them exactly where we are. The floor has some oil stains here and there, but that's just part of working with heavy tools every day. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer inside the unit, so we keep the big fans going all day long. It’s just me and a couple of others usually. We don't do much talking, mostly just focusing on the tasks at hand.
