We are over at Plot Number 98/2 on K. R. Mahatre Marg. It’s right on the Station Road in Reay Road West. If you’ve been to Reay Road, you know it’s a very industrial and busy place. Sanghvi Land Developers is based right in the middle of all that action. Our office is near the station, so we hear the trains going by all day long. It’s a sound you get used to after a week. We work on developing land, which sounds like a lot, but it’s really just a lot of meetings and site visits. We have a small crew here. The office is practical—lots of maps, some hard hats in the corner, and a big jug of water. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just do the work. People find us because we’ve been on this road for a long time. It’s a lot of dealing with local authorities and making sure everything is legal and square. The weather here can be tough, especially when it rains, and the road gets muddy. But we show up every morning anyway. We aren't looking to be famous or anything. We just want to finish our projects and move on to the next one. It’s just basic, hard work for all of us. Most of our time is spent out on the road checking measurements and talking to guys on the sites.
