I’m with Sanghvi Estate Agency. We operate out of a small place at 3 Byculla Thakur Village, specifically in the Dit Chawl. It’s right opposite the Darshan Tower, which is a big contrast to where we are. Our office is pretty modest, just a spot in the chawl where we keep our files and meet people about property. Thakur Village has changed a lot over the years, with new buildings going up everywhere you look. We spend a lot of our time walking around the neighborhood looking at different flats or shops that are for sale or rent. It’s a lot of talking to owners and showing people around. Being in a chawl means we are right in the middle of everything, very close to the neighbors and the local shops. It can get a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a fan that keeps things moving. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that, just some chairs and a table where we go over the paperwork. Opposite us, Darshan Tower is always busy with people coming and going. We’ve been in this spot for quite a bit now and know the area like the back of our hand. It’s just regular daily work for us, trying to help folks find a place to stay or do business around Byculla. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door or calls our phone.
