Sangeeta Handloom House

You can find Sangeeta Handloom House on the ground floor of Tulsi Apartment in Malad West. We are located right opposite the Sai Baba Temple, which is a very well-known spot in this neighborhood. Having the temple across the street means our shop is always surrounded by people, especially on Thursdays when the crowds are really big. We deal in all sorts of handloom fabrics and clothes, and the shop is filled with different textures and colors everywhere you look. It is not a huge space, so sometimes it feels a bit crowded when we have a lot of customers, but it makes the atmosphere feel lively. We’ve been here for a long time and we know almost everyone who lives in Tulsi Apartment. The shop doesn't have any fancy decorations or professional lighting; we just use what we have to show off the fabrics as best as we can. It’s a very down-to-earth business and we don't go in for big sales pitches or promotional talk. We just show people the material and let them decide for themselves. Malad West is a great place to be, and being on the ground floor means older folks can just walk in easily without any trouble. It’s a simple, honest way to run a shop and we enjoy being a part of the daily life of this community near the temple.
