You will find us over at E 4 in Saki Vihar, which is not too far from the Adarsh Committee. Being an estate agent in this part of town means you have to know every shortcut and back alley by heart. We spend a lot of our time out of the office, actually looking at properties or meeting people at various building sites. The office is really just a home base for us where we keep our files and take phone calls. It is not a large place, just enough room for a few chairs and a lot of maps pinned up on the walls. Dealing with property can be a very stressful thing for people, so we just try to keep things calm and explain how the local market is moving lately. Some days are spent entirely on the phone, chasing down landlords or checking on the status of some paperwork. Saki Vihar is always changing, with new buildings going up and old ones changing hands every month. We see all of that from our little spot. We don't wear suits and ties every day because it is just too hot for that when you are walking around looking at different flats. It is a lot of legwork. We know the neighbors and which buildings have the best water supply or the fewest issues. It is about being practical. We help folks find a place to live or a spot for their business without making it complicated.
