Sakshi Silk Sarees

Sakshi Silk Sarees is tucked away at B/31 on Kalbadevi Peddar Road, not too far from Metro Cinema. This part of the city is always crowded, and our shop is no different. We have piles of sarees everywhere, and sometimes it feels like there is hardly any room to walk between the stacks. We spend most of our time unfolding and folding back fabrics for people who stop by. It is a lot of manual work, and our hands get tired by the end of the day. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is kept. People find us because we have been in this spot for a long time. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan going that makes a bit of noise. We don't really do much advertising or have a fancy website. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or relatives who have been here before. We try to keep things honest and just show what we have in stock. Sometimes we don't have exactly what someone wants, and we just tell them that. It is a straightforward way of doing things. The traffic near Metro Cinema can be a real headache, but we are used to the honking and the shouting outside. We just sit here among the silks and wait for the next person to walk through the door.
