Sakshi Design Studio

Sakshi Design Studio is at No. 6 in the Hari Gopal Kastur Chand Mill Compound. We are right off Senapati Bapat Marg in Dadar West. Being in an old mill compound gives the place a specific kind of feel. The ceilings are high, but the walls are a bit rough, and you can tell the building has a lot of history. Dadar West is always buzzing, and Senapati Bapat Marg is one of those roads that never seems to be quiet. We have our studio in unit six, which is basically just a large open room where we do all our designing and planning. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. There are bits of thread and paper all over the floor most of the time. We try to clean up at the end of the day, but by the next morning, it’s back to being a workspace again. We like being in Dadar because it is central and easy for people to get to, even if the traffic is bad. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy descriptions for us. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do. The compound has a lot of other small businesses too, so it feels like a community of sorts. If you find the mill compound entrance, we are just a short walk inside. We've been at No. 6 for a while now and the space just feels right for us. It gets the job done and we like being here in Dadar West.
