Our small office is in Chakala, at number 14 in Nico Garden. We are right opposite Namaskar Society, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Property consulting sounds like a big title, but really it is just us helping people find a place to live or a shop to rent in this specific area. We spend a lot of time walking around the neighborhood, looking at buildings and talking to landlords. The office is simple—just a couple of desks, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of maps and listings kept in folders. People walk in with all sorts of requirements, and we try to see what fits their budget. It is not always easy because the prices in Mumbai are always changing and everyone is looking for a good deal. We don't do any of that high-pressure sales stuff. We just show the flats, tell you what the rent is, and let you decide for yourself. Some days are spent just sitting and waiting for the phone to ring, and other days we are out in the sun all afternoon showing properties to different families. It is a local business and we know the streets around here like the back of our hand. We have helped families move into their first homes and small business owners find their first shops. It is nice to see people settle in. We just keep things honest and tell it like it is.
