Sai Krupa Fast Food

Sai Krupa Fast Food is located on A M Merwanji Lane in Parel, right at number seven. This part of Parel has a lot of history, with all the old mills and the hospitals nearby. We are a small joint that serves the local crowd who are always looking for something quick. The kitchen is right at the front so you can see everything being made while you wait. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who take turns at the stove and the counter. The lane is narrow, so it can get pretty crowded when people stop their bikes right in front to pick up a parcel. We have a few small tables inside, but most people just stand and eat or take their food away to their offices. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to get around to that. We start our day early by checking the market for fresh vegetables and bread. Everything we make is done in small batches so it doesn't sit around for too long. We get a lot of hospital staff and relatives coming in because we are so close to the main medical area. It’s a lot of repetitive work, day in and day out, but we like the routine we have built here. We know the neighbors and we know which delivery drivers are always going to be late.
