Our office is right next to Kismat Theatre in Prabhadevi. If you know the area, it's in the Mudit Palace building on Station Road. Being near the United Western Apartments makes it easy for people to find us. We've been helping folks look for flats and shops around here for a long time. It’s a busy part of town. The noise from the theater crowds and the station traffic is something we're used to. We spend most of our time on the phone or walking around showing properties. It's not a glamorous job. There's a lot of paperwork and running between offices. Sometimes a deal goes through, sometimes it doesn't after weeks of trying. We keep track of who is selling and who wants to rent. The office is small, just a few chairs and some files. We drink tea from the stall downstairs. Most of our clients are locals or people moving in for work. We know which buildings have water issues and which ones are kept well. It's just about knowing the streets and the landlords. We don't do big advertisements. Most people just walk in because they saw the board outside. It's a simple operation. We stay open late because that's when people are free from work. Sometimes it’s tiring, but we’ve been at it for years now. We usually have a map of the area pinned to the wall that's getting a bit yellow.
