We’ve been here at H 177 Mahim Ghee Kanta Road for a while now. Most people know the spot because we’re right by Shankar Mandir. Being a real estate consultant in a place like Mahim keeps us on our feet. It is not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of registers with names and numbers. We spend most of our mornings drinking chai and talking to folks who want to move into the neighborhood or maybe sell an old family flat. There is always someone coming in asking about rents or looking for a small shop space near the temple. We know these streets well because we walk them every single day. If you are looking for us, just head toward the temple and look for the sign. Sometimes the traffic on Ghee Kanta Road gets a bit much, but that is just how life is here in this part of town. We handle the paperwork and the talking back and forth between owners and tenants. It can be a headache sometimes, dealing with all the documents and the legal bits, but we get it done. We aren’t trying to be the biggest agency in Mumbai. We just like helping the people who come through our door. The fan makes a bit of noise in the afternoons, but it keeps the heat away while we check the latest property listings.
