Sai Estate Consultancy

I’ve been running Sai Estate Consultancy here in Mumbai Morwadi for a while now. Most days I’m just sitting at the desk or out looking at properties around the neighborhood. Morwadi is a busy place, but you get used to the noise after some time. People stop by all the time asking about rents or if there’s a small space for a shop. I try to keep track of everything in my ledger, though sometimes I forget to write things down immediately. It's not a big fancy office with glass walls or anything, just a simple place where we can talk. The chai guy from around the corner usually brings a few cups in the afternoon when things slow down. I grew up around here, so I know which buildings have good water supply and which ones have issues with the lift. That's the kind of stuff people really want to know anyway. Real estate is mostly just talking to people and seeing who needs what. Some days are very quiet and I just read the paper, and other days three families show up at once wanting to see the same flat. It gets a bit hectic then, but that’s just how it goes. I don’t use any of those big apps much, I prefer when people just walk in or call me directly. It feels more honest that way. I've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but it's still home to me.
