We are down on the ground floor of the Sai Arti Building, which sits right on 2 Fort Kuvempu Road. It is a busy street and there is always something going on outside our window. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop their head in and ask a quick question without having to climb any stairs. We have been in this building for several years now. The office is a bit small but it fits our desks and a small table for tea. We spend most of our day answering the landline or talking to people who live in the apartments nearby. Kuvempu Road has changed a lot since we first started, with more shops opening up and more traffic coming through. We don't do any big advertisements or anything like that. Most of the people who come to us are just locals or friends of locals who heard we have been around for a while. We keep our records in a few different books and on an old computer that takes a minute to start up. Sometimes the lights flicker when the weather is bad, but we just keep going. It is a practical place for a practical job. We just try to help people figure out the local property stuff without making it more complicated than it needs to be. We are usually here from ten in the morning until the sun goes down and then we head home to our families.
