Sai Estate Agent Shop

Goregaon has changed a lot over the years, and we have seen most of it from our little spot at Sai Estate Agent Shop. It is a small place, mostly just a couple of desks and a lot of files. The walls are covered with maps and lists of buildings. We spend a lot of time walking around the different blocks, looking at new constructions or checking on old flats. The phone rings a lot, usually people asking about rent or wanting to sell something. It is a lot of back and forth. Some days we are out in the sun for hours, showing people around until our feet ache. It is not like the movies; it is mostly just paperwork and waiting for people to show up for appointments. Sometimes they do not even show up. Goregaon is busy, and the traffic makes it hard to get from one side to the other quickly. We know the shortcuts and which buildings have the best water supply. We do not have a big corporate team, just us trying to keep track of who is moving where. It is a bit messy with all the keys and the registers, but we know where everything is. People stop by just to ask directions sometimes. We just keep the door open and wait for the next call. It is basic work, but it keeps us busy from morning till late evening. We like the neighborhood.
