Saffron Media Pvt. Ltd. is based on the 2nd floor of the Laura Building, located in 1st Dhobi Talao. It’s an older building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if you're not used to them. We like being in this part of town because it’s always active and there is always something happening outside. Our office is a mix of desks, computers, and stacks of papers. It’s not one of those modern glass offices you see in the movies. We have old wooden floors that creak a bit when you walk across them to the printer. Most of the time, it’s pretty quiet in here except for the sound of typing or someone talking on the phone with a client. We spend a lot of our day looking at screens and trying to meet deadlines. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big project, and the street outside starts to get a bit quieter. There’s a small pantry in the corner where we make coffee and tea. It’s a bit messy with mugs and spoons, but it’s where we gather to take a break. We don't have any big mission statements on the walls. We just have our calendars and some old posters. It’s a comfortable enough place to work. Being in Dhobi Talao means there’s always somewhere nearby to grab a quick snack when we’re busy.
