S S Tools

Our shop is number two, tucked inside Raja Market in Andheri East. If you know Lokhand Bazar, you know it’s always crowded and loud. We are right near the Kochrab Ashram area. It is a small space, really. We have boxes stacked up to the ceiling because there is never enough room for everything we want to keep in stock. S S Tools has been in this spot for years. Most mornings start with moving a few crates outside just so we can stand behind the counter. It is dusty, but that is just how it goes in a place that sells metal and hardware. We get a lot of workers coming in before their shifts start. They need a specific drill bit or maybe just some heavy-duty gloves. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. My cousin helps out on the weekends when it gets really packed. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit if we have too many things plugged in at once. It’s just a normal shop for normal people. We don't spend money on fancy displays. We’d rather just have the right bolt when someone is in a hurry. If you walk past the main gate of the market, just keep going until you see the old blue sign. That is us. It is nothing special, but it works for us and our neighbors here.
