Ruchi Realtor is over in Mahalaxmi, right near Jacob Circle. If you know Mumbai, you know that Jacob Circle is a landmark where everything meets. Our office is tucked away nearby, and we’ve been working out of this area for a good while. It’s an interesting part of the city because you have the old charm mixed with all the new towers going up. We spend our days answering inquiries and trying to match people with the right kind of space. It’s not always easy because everyone wants something different. We have a few desks and a lot of paper stacks that never seem to get smaller. Most of the time, we are either on the phone or walking over to one of the buildings near the circle. The noise of the traffic is something you just stop hearing after a few weeks. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a practical space where we can get the job done. We see a lot of different people coming through, from students to families. We just try to be helpful and honest about what is available in the current market. The work is steady and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Mahalaxmi is a great place to be based because you are right in the heart of things. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else because the energy here is just right for what we do.
