If you are looking for us, Ruby Estate Consultant is in Shop No 7 at the Gamdevi Cooperative in Andheri West. We are really close to Infiniti Mall, so the whole area is always packed with cars and people shopping. It makes for a very lively place to work. Our shop is small but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. Most of our day is spent talking to people who are looking for a flat or trying to rent out their place in Andheri. It’s a fast-moving market, so the phone stays pretty busy. We have a lot of regular clients who just drop by to see what’s new or to have a cup of tea. We don't really do the fancy marketing stuff you see elsewhere. We just know the buildings in this neighborhood like the back of our hands. Sometimes the mall traffic makes it hard to get around, but being so central has its benefits. We deal with all the usual headaches of property work, like leaky pipes or missing documents or difficult contracts. It’s just part of the routine. We like the energy of Andheri West and the fact that there is always something going on right outside our door. We’re just a local team doing our best to keep up with the demand in this busy part of Mumbai. It gets tiring but we keep at it every day because someone always needs a roof over their head.
