Our shop is right here in Mahim, just a short walk from the old Kinnari Cinema. Being at number 1 makes us pretty easy to find, though the street can get crowded with people going to the movies or heading home from work. We deal with aluminium mostly. If you walk inside, you will see stacks of sections and silver sheets leaning against every wall. It is a bit cramped because we try to keep enough stock on hand for anyone who walks in. The guys here have been working these cutting machines for a long time, and they know exactly how to handle the material. We do not do any big advertising; people mostly just see our sign or hear about us from a neighbor down the road. By noon, the floor is usually covered in little silver shavings, and we have to sweep it all up so nobody slips. It is just a regular routine for us. We start early when the air is still a bit cool before the afternoon heat hits the metal. Dealing with aluminium is what we know. Whether it is for a simple window frame or something a bit bigger, we just handle the request as it comes in. It is not a corporate office with air conditioning everywhere. It is a workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. We have been near the cinema for years and we like the rhythm of the street.
