Om Scrap

Om Scrap is located on J.M Road in Jovanpada. We are pretty close to Saroj Nagar in Mulund West. It’s a busy part of the city. Our yard is filled with all sorts of metal, old machines, and discarded materials. It looks a bit chaotic to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We spend our days sorting through what people bring us. Some days it’s old copper wires, other days it’s heavy iron beams. We use scales to weigh everything and then pile it up for processing. The ground is usually dusty and there’s always a lot of clanging sounds from moving metal around. Mulund West is a good area to be in because there’s always something being built or torn down nearby. We don’t have a fancy website or a sales team. People just know we are here on J.M Road. We deal with a lot of regular collectors and local residents who are cleaning out their garages. It’s a physical job. Our clothes get torn and our boots stay dirty. We don’t mind the grime. It’s part of the trade. We just want to keep the yard moving and make sure the materials get recycled or sold to the right places. It’s a simple, honest business. If you’re in Jovanpada, you can’t miss the piles of metal behind our gates. We stay open pretty late most days because people are always dropping things off after their own work shifts end.
