Our place is at Plot No. 147 in the Government Industrial Estate in Kandivali West. Being in an industrial estate means there is always a lot of movement—trucks coming in, metal being loaded, and the sound of machinery in the distance. We work with metals. It’s a heavy industry, honestly. You’re dealing with weight, grades of metal, and a lot of inventory. The office is right there on the plot so we can see what’s happening in the yard. Mumbai’s humidity makes the work a bit tough during the monsoon, but we keep things going. We don't have a fancy corporate lobby. It’s a place where work happens. We handle different types of metal products and supply them to whoever needs them for their own manufacturing. We’ve been in Kandivali for quite some time now. You get to know the other business owners in the estate after a while. We don't have a philosophy or anything like that. We just buy, sell, and process metal. It’s about the weight and the quality of the material at the end of the day. The staff is used to the environment. It’s not a clean-shirt kind of job most days. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the trucks leave on time. It’s a straightforward business in a busy part of the city.
