Our office is in Tiecicon House on Dr. E. Moses Road. It’s right in the Mahalaxmi area, which is always bustling with activity. We make cans. It sounds simple, but there is actually quite a lot to it. We’ve been at this for a long time, providing packaging for all sorts of products, mostly food and oils. The noise from the production lines is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't a new startup with bean bags and coffee bars; we are a traditional manufacturing setup. The walls might need a bit of paint, and the desks are old, but the cans we produce are solid. We have a lot of workers who commute from all over the city to get here. It’s a steady rhythm of metal being cut and shaped. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. If someone needs cans, they usually find us through word of mouth or because they've seen our name on a tin somewhere. Dealing with suppliers and logistics in this part of town can be a headache with the traffic, but we’ve figured out the timing over the years. It’s honest work, making something tangible that people use every day without thinking about it. We just keep the machines running and the orders moving out the door. It’s been our way of life for decades and we don't plan on changing how we operate just to look more modern or polished.
